Mai scrunched up her nose at the smell of the place as she left the sewers. Alcohol and bodies. Worse than the smell of the place was the nerve wracking noise and constant thumping. Gritting her teeth and holding the small metal cannister tighter, Mai scanned the club. The other that she sought was here but it would take time to find him with so many people.
Mai moved through the crowd, many seemed to part out of her path of their own accord, shying away from the strange Asian girl in a solid white traditional kimono embossed with dragons and mountains in shiny white thread and folded silk blindfold. There were many outlandish costumes in the House of Pain, it was doubtful that simply wearing something somewhat out of the norm would have drawn this much attention but the blindfold and Mai's formal air seemed to disturb the more attentive in the crowd.
Not everyone was keen enough to pick up on her lack of belonging. One man in leather with a whip coiled at his waist grinned at her and attempted to slide closer, reaching out a hand to take her sleeve.
"Nice threads. I like a little foreign exchange now an.... Hey! Ow!"Â?
Mai had silently reached out and twisted his wrist away from her outfit before he could touch it, not even bothering to turn her head in his direction as she continued forward in the room, pushing the man out of her way by the hand hold she had made of his wrist.
"Did you see that?"Â?
"Should know, don't mess with Asian chicks, man, even the cutest looking of them can probably kick your ass."Â?
"She didn't even look at him! Can she see in that thing?"Â?
Mai tilted her head to the side, listening. She frowned in concentration and stood still in the middle of the dance floor. There it was, the quiet lilt of Huntington's voice, his subtle accent. She had finally managed to pick it out through the strain of everything else in the place.
Moving swiftly through the crowd, she came to the more quiet private booths and stood next to Simon's table.
Quietly she set down the intricate silver metal scroll case capped with gothic design work on the ends but smooth along the blackened tubing until you reached the center which held the combined marks of Anantya and Evenhet.
"Simon Huntington, You have been summoned."Â?
((OOC: Permission granted to find Simon in a booth.))
