How will we work this out? I'm assuming one thread per character at a time just like all the other forums, but do we want them to have to start their trip in Nachton maybe, and end it there as well? Or just let folks have at it in the manner of their choosing?
Ambrose
Yeah, I'm a fan of just one thread outside of Nachton at a time. I personally think that a travel thread either needs to start OR end in Nachton. That way you could have a trip take two threads rather than have to write one gigantic thread

That's fine with me. However, the sewer is rp'd as a separate area where you can start and end - can we give people the option to do that and not 'have' to start and end in Nachton?
Actually, what if we just made the Underground hub a larger version of the sewers? Keeping it in Nachton without ever really leaving? Outside of Nachton would still be rp'd in the logs, keeping that down to a minimum. I think there could be a lot of fun train events/threads - we should do a super cool Orient Express type deal.
DOH, Underground MAFIA!

so lemme see if I understand this concept. The idea is to have trip type threads such as planes, trains and subways that can take place outside of Nachton, most likely going to or from the city. However, like before there will be no role playing in say Paris or "Oooh honey here were are in the Bahamas!" and that type of thing?
Cause I am totally down with the whole lock a bunch of people up in the subway and then unleash a vampire/werewolf battle on captive vict.... by standers! :vampgrin

Yeah tha what I was thinking so, say, your conversation on the train and be RP'd here but when you reach your destination and get off the train you have to switch and put everything into your log. And then maybe you can RP the train ride back if you want.
That way if people want to RP conversation while they travel they can, or if they don't want to put it in a log (because sometimes that's awkward) they can do it kind of like:
Leaving Nachton
blah blah blah here goes the train, Aishe looked out the window after six hours and saw a night time view of virginia beach. She stepped off the train and went to find a cab.
Arriving Back in Nachton
Aishe flopped down into her seat on the train after stowing her bag above it. The beach at night had been fabulous although the water had been cold, and having that shark attack right in the middle of her midnight skinny-dip hadn't improved matters. But everyone was fine and her spleen had regenerated. All's well that ends well (train moves off, blah blah blah)
Kinda like so?
I also like your idea Roz, making the underground a bigger extension of the sewers.
